Easy Halloween Eyeball Recipe

Because I’m not much of a cook, I’m always looking for easy meals and snacks for the Holidays. Halloween in the kitchen always makes for a lot of fun! I found this easy Halloween eyeball recipe on Cute Food For Kids¬†(This fun blog has a ton of Babybel ideas and recipes), and plan on adding this to my Halloween party buffet. I couldn’t get over how easy it is! I love the reaction I get from the kids when serving¬†gross looking Halloween food. It always gets them to squirm and laugh.

These easy cheesy eyeballs have a simple list of ingredients: Mini Babybel cheese, black olives, ketchup, and red gel food coloring, which you can find in the cake decorating aisle at Walmart and many grocery stores. You will also need a fine tip paint brush to apply the gel. Although it doesn’t work as well, you can also use a toothpick to apply the food coloring. If you’re not a ketchup fan, consider leaving the center of the olives empty. It will make for less mess, too!
