Notes
I purchased the donut holes for this recipe at my local donut shop. To me, there is nothing more delicious than fresh donuts! But if you're not close to any homemade donut shops, you should be able to find prepackaged donut holes at your local grocery store.
Acorn Donut Holes are best when eaten the same day, but you can make them the night before and store in an air tight container. Make sure the container in sealed tight otherwise the donut holes will get stale.
Nutella or chocolate frosting can be used in place of melted chocolate.
Walmart, Target, and Michaels/Hobby Lobby usually have fall themed sprinkles starting in September. I like to grab several containers so that I don't run out before the end of fall. You can never have too many fall themed sprinkle recipes!
