Mummy Dogs
Mummy Dogs are the perfect Halloween recipe to make for kids and adults. With juicy hot dogs and flaky, butter crescent rolls, this simple recipe is fun and delicious. Mummy dogs are perfect as Halloween party appetizers, after school snacks, or a family dinner before trick or treating.

Ingredients
- 1 pkg Crescent roll dough
- 8 Hot dogs
- 16 Candy eyeballs
- Ketchup and Mustard (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375℉ and line a 9x13 baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll the crescent roll dough and use a pizza cutter or shape knife to cut ¼ inch strips of dough.
- Wrap each hot dog in dough strips to resemble a mummy and place on baking sheet. Each mummy dog will use 2-3 strips of crescent dough. *remember to leave space uncovered at the top of the hot dog for the eyes*
- Bake at 375℉ for 10-15 minutes or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and the hot dogs are sizzling.
- Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes then add 2 small dots of mustard to each mummy dog and place the candy eyes on top of the mustard for added spookiness.
- Serve with a bowl of spider web ketchup. In a bowl of ketchup squeeze mustard in a spiral and use a tooth pick to make a web design by dragging lines from the center of the spiral to the edge of the bowl.
Notes
Mummy Dogs will stay good in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Make sure to store in an air tight container.
This recipe is best reheated in the air fryer or oven. Preheat the oven/airfryer to 350°F and heat mummy dogs until warm. Watch closely to prevent the crescent dough from burning!
