Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings 20 pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 4 ounces flavored cream cheese spread (Chive or Garden Vegetable)
  • ¼ cup shredded lettuce
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 6+ slices sliced turkey

Instructions

  • Spread about 2 ounces of cream cheese evenly over each tortilla, all the way to the edges.
  • Top with chopped lettuce, 2 slices of cheese, and 2–4 slices of turkey, keeping the cheese and turkey close to one side.
  • Starting on the filled side, tightly roll the tortillas into a log. Add a little extra cream cheese to the edge if needed to help seal it. If you plan on serving later, place them in plastic wrap and store in your fridge to cut later.
  • Once ready to eat or pack in a lunch box, cut each roll in half, then slice each half into 5 pieces, discarding or eating the unfilled ends.

Notes

  • A flavored cream cheese spread such as Philadephia's Chive & Onion or Garden Vegetable make this recipe extra quick and easy with very little prep, but you can also season your own with ranch seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, or your favorite spices. Just be sure to soften the cream cheese first so it’s smooth and easy to spread.
  • Looking for more filling ideas? Try switching things up with ham, bacon, chicken, roast beef, Swiss, provolone, pepper jack, or any of your favorite deli meats and cheeses. You can also add avocado, tomato, shredded carrots, bell peppers, ranch dressing, or your favorite crunchy lettuce for extra flavor and texture.
  • Make this recipe healthier with whole wheat or low carb tortillas! We love how versatile this recipe is, and kids love the fun change from the typical, boring sandwich.
