Reese's Pieces (yellow & orange)
candy eyes
Instructions
You can make as many of these as you'd like, but I recommend working in small batches so that the chocolate doesn't harden before you have a chance to apply the candy.
Preheat your oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place 8-12 pretzel twists onto the parchment paper. The larger the batch, the faster you have to work before the chocolate hardens.
Place an unwrapped Rolo near the bottom of each pretzel, leaving a little bit of room behind it to support the candy corn feathers.
Bake for about 1-2 minutes, just enough time to soften the chocolate without it melting.
Remove from the oven and immediately press 3 candy corn pieces into the top of each Rolo to create feathers, being careful not to slide the chocolate off the pretzel.
Add two candy eyes and a Reese’s Pieces for the beak, pressing them in just slightly.
Let the chocolate set for about 20 minutes at room temperature, or refrigerate for 5–10 minutes to speed things up.
Repeat the process to make more!
Notes
