1flour tortilla(soft taco size)
2tbsppeanut butter
½large banana(sliced)
chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Spread about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly over a tortilla.
Top half of the tortilla with sliced banana and a small handful of chocolate chips.
Fold the tortilla in half, then cook it in a skillet over medium-high heat for a few minutes on each side until golden and crispy. You can also pop it in the air fryer at 390°F for 3–5 minutes.
Cut the quesadilla in half, let it cool for a few minutes, and enjoy!
Notes
We actually think these peanut butter quesadillas taste even better after they’ve had a chance to cool and the filling has firmed up a bit.
For a fun twist, try a drizzle of honey and cinnamon in place of the chocolate chips. Or maybe even Nutella? Hmm.
You can use any kind of flour tortilla for this recipe including white flour or whole wheat. You could also try almond butter for a healthier twist!
A lot of quesadillas are toasted with butter, but because this recipe is already loaded with peanut butter, it really doesn't need the added fat. It's definitely an option, though!
