How To Make Cardboard Hedgehogs
Supplies
- Cardboard
- Marker
- Glue (hot glue or liquid glue will work)
- Pine needles (Or colorful leaves, construction paper leaves, etc.)
Step 1 Grab a piece of cardboard and cut a semi-circle. This can be any size. Draw a little point with marker for the face.
Step 2 Cut along your marker line to create a face for your hedgehog. Add a nose, eye, and smile to this cute little guy’s face with marker.
Step 3 Add a line of glue and add your pine needles (or leaves) to your hedgehog. Add more line of glues and pine needles until the hedgehog’s back is completely covered.
Step 4 Let the glue on the hedgehog craft dry completely then it’s ready for play time! Use this fun hedgehog in your fairy garden or doll house. Let your kid’s imagination run wild.
Helpful Tips
- Don’t have pine needles at home? You can buy some at any craft store or use another material all together for your craft hedgehog.
- Head outside and grab some leaves, small sticks, or even grass to decorate your hedgehog.
- Add a googly eye to make your hedgehog even cuter!
- Make this easy craft over and over. If you use different size semi-circles in the 1st step, then you can make an entire hedgehog family! 🦔
