Looking for creepy-cute Halloween crafts that are easy enough for kids to make without a huge mess? These popsicle stick spiders are made with just a few basic craft supplies, including colorful craft sticks, black pom-poms, and googly eyes. And these little guys are so much fun to have hanging around the house all Halloween long!
Kids will have a blast gluing everything together and giving their fuzzy little spider a silly or spooky personality. Add two googly eyes for a classic look, or pile on a bunch for an extra-creepy Halloween spider!

Supplies Needed
- colored popsicle sticks (like these)
- 1.5 inch black fuzzy pom-poms (like these)
- googly eyes
- hot glue gun

How To Make Popsicle Stick Spiders
Place a dab of glue in the center of one popsicle stick, then lay another stick diagonally across the top to create a slight “X” shape. Repeat with the remaining sticks until all four are securely glued together to form the spider’s legs.

Next, hot glue a fluffy pom-pom directly in the center of the popsicle stick legs, then add a pair of creepy googly eyes to bring your little spider to life. That’s it! I told you this was easy.

This easy Halloween craft is great for preschoolers and older kids with a little help as needed with the hot glue gun. Make as many as you’d like and turn your house into a creepy-crawly spider invasion! Scatter them around the playroom, set them on shelves, or let the kids have fun hiding them in unexpected places
