Gathered craft supplies for making melted snowmen for Christmas including construction paper, glue, scissors, buttons, twigs, paint, googly eyes, and a toilet paper roll.

Step 1Start by cutting a toilet paper roll in half to make your snowman’s face. Paint both the inside and outside of the roll white, applying a few coats as needed for full coverage. Be sure to let the paint dry between coats.

Step 2While the paint is drying, cut a melted snow “puddle” shape out of white cardstock or construction paper. Don’t worry about making it perfect! A puddle is supposed to have an uneven, wavy shape. We made ours about four times the size of the snowman’s head to leave plenty of room for adding fun details later.

Step 3Before assembling your snowman, it’s time to give him a cute little face! Add a carrot nose, a cheerful smile, and a pair of googly eyes. You can use markers, paint, or cut-out pieces of construction paper to create his features. Just use whatever craft supplies you already have on hand!

Step 4Now for the fun little details and accessories! Before reaching for the glue, arrange all your pieces on the snowy puddle until everything looks just right. This way, you can move things around and get creative before making anything permanent. Once you’re happy with your design, glue everything into place. And just like that, you’ve got the cutest little melted snowman for Christmas!
