How To Make A Flower Counting Activity

1 Start with some foam flowers from amazon or the craft store. I used 2″ flowers for this fun counting activity. With a black sharpie write one number on each foam flower. I made 1-5 for my 2 year old but feel free to make as many numbers as you like!

2 Next, cut the green pipe cleaners in half. If your flower has a number larger than 10 written on it, use a whole pipe cleaner so you have enough room for the correct number of beads. Use scotch tape to attach the pipe cleaner to the back of each foam flower.

3 Have your kids lace the correct number of pony beads onto each pipe cleaner flower to match the number written. Counting and fine motor practice all in one woohoo!
