Supplies
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- Construction Paper
- Glue/Scissors
- Googly Eyes
- Pipe Cleaners
- Black Marker
- Paint

Before You Start
In order to make it a little easier for my kids to handle the popsicle sticks, I did this quick prep step! Grab 4 jumbo popsicle sticks and line them next to each other. Using hot glue or tape, add a smaller popsicle stick in a horizontal line to connect all the sticks together. Turn the connected popsicle sticks over and you’re ready to decorate. You don’t want to skip this step! Doing 2 minutes of prep time will make this easy craft idea even easier!
How To Make Halloween Popsicle Stick Crafts
1. Mummy
Materials Needed: 4 jumbo popsicle sticks, white paint, large googly eyes, 3-4 white pipe cleaners
Grab 4 jumbo popsicle sticks and paint them white. After the sticks are dry add a couple of large googly eyes with glue. Then using 3-4 white pipe cleaners, wrap the popsicle sticks loosely until it looks like bandages. Connect and secure the pipe cleaners by twisting the ends together. Let’s wrap up this craft now (HA get it ðĪŠ).
2. Frankenstien
Materials Needed: 4 jumbo popsicle sticks, green and black paint, large googly eyes, black sharpie
Using 4 jumbo popsicle sticks, paint 2/3 of the stick green and let dry. Once the green paint is dry add black paint to the top of the stick for Frankenstein’s hair. Glue on 2 large googly eyes and use a sharpie to add stitches to this spooky cutie’s face. It’s Alive!!
3. Jack-O’-Lantern
Materials Needed: 4 jumbo popsicle sticks, orange paint, black construction paper, brown construction paper, 1 green pipe cleaner
The cutest jack-o-lantern in the patch! Paint 4 jumbo popsicle sticks orange and let dry completely. While the paint is drying cut eyes, a nose, and a mouth out of black construction paper. Using brown construction paper, cut a square for the stem. Attach the eyes, nose, and mouth to the front of the Jack-o-lantern. Flip the pumpkin over and glue the stem to the top of the back. Next, cut a green pipe cleaner in half and curl it around your finger. Glue this “leaf” to the stem on the back of your jack-o-lantern.
4. Vampire Bat
Materials Needed: 4 jumbo popsicle sticks, black paint, large googly eyes, white and black construction paper
This may be my favorite one! Let’s make a spooky cute vampire bat. Paint 4 popsicle sticks black and let dry. Using black construction paper, cut out wings and ears. Glue these to the back of the painted popsicle sticks. On the front of your bat, add 2 googly eyes. Cut a couple of fangs out of white construction paper and add them to the front of your bat.
5. Googly Eyed Monster
Materials Needed: 4 jumbo popsicle sticks, purple paint, 8-10 various sized googly eyes, black construction paper
EEK, A Monster! This is a super fun Halloween craft for kids to make. Paint 4 popsicle sticks purple and let dry. Grab some black construction paper and cut a mouth. Glue this to the front. Get 8-10 different sized googly eyes and glue them randomly at the top of the painted popsicle sticks. That’s it, you’re done!
