What Do You Need?
- Your kid’s favorite puzzle (my daughter loves these unicorn puzzles)
- Painter’s tape

My Quick and Easy Puzzle Hunt Set Up
Grab the puzzle pieces and add painters tape to each one. Make sure to use a tape that won’t destroy your puzzle pieces or walls. (This is what I used)

Then run around your house like a crazy lady taping random puzzle pieces to your walls and furniture. Make sure your kiddos aren’t watching!

Let your little one loose to find all the missing puzzle pieces. As they find each piece, have them bring it back to the puzzle board and find the right place for it.

So What Are We Learning
You know by now that I always have a secret learning agenda with each new fun activity. So what does this easy puzzle activity do for your kids?
- Problem Solving: Your child will have to use problem solving skills to find each puzzle piece.
- Whole Body Learning: When we use our entire body during an activity it actually helps our brain learn and retain information easier!
- Hand-Eye-Coordination: This is especially important for toddlers as they learn to use their body.
- Fine Motor Skills: Kids will need to peel the tape to get the puzzle piece, working those little hands and increasing hand strength.

Also jumping on my soap box for a moment… We as parents are so quick to buy a new toy/game every time our kids get bored. This fun puzzle game shows our kids how to use what they already have in a new and exciting way. They don’t need more stuff, just new ways to use what they already have.

This easy puzzle activity was such a hit in my house. My daughter asked me to hide her puzzle over and over! This is one of those easy boredom busting activities that requires very little effort on your part. All you need is your child’s favorite puzzle and some tape to create an engaging game for kids that’s sure to be a hit.
